Practice round — the scoreboard is offline, so this one won't post.
Your email keeps your score on the board and tells us where to send prize news. We don't sell it. How we handle it.
You see the category, not the question. Decide how much of your 100 to risk. No clock on this screen — take as long as you want. You have to leave yourself at least one point for every question still to come, so you can't go all in until the last one.
It gets read out a word at a time, the way a host reads it. Tap it if you want the rest at once. The clock only starts once the whole question is up.
No multiple choice. Close spelling counts, and a last name on its own usually counts. You get 15 to 21 seconds depending on the question. Run out the clock and you lose what you put up.
There's a hint button that shows the first letter of the answer. It halves what you win, but never what you lose.
The Joker is your fix. Get a bum question — one with more than one right answer — and it doesn't cost you the game. Marked wrong on something you know you had? Play the Joker and it counts as correct. One per game. Don't use it and it goes in by itself on the last question if you get that one wrong.
Your final score posts to the scoreboard — today, this week, this month and all time. Play as often as you like; your best score is the one that stands.
