DiOrio’s Circle Cafe has been family-owned and operated for over 60 years and holds a “Best of the Shore” award for good reason. This is the bar that Somers Point locals call their own — a classic American horseshoe bar with 11 flat screen TVs, cold beer, and food that keeps people coming back year after year. Shore visitors who discover it tend to make it their first stop every trip.
The menu punches well above your average bar food. The wings are a local legend — available boneless or traditional in a wide range of sauces including a notorious 2 Alarm and a scampi sauce with actual shrimp. The she crab soup, clam chowder, crab cakes, potato skins, mozzarella sticks, and tenders all have devoted followings. The filet mignon sandwich gets mentioned almost as often as the wings. There’s also a solid Beyond Burger and a kids’ menu for families.

Weekly Event — Sept through May
Tuesday night at DiOrio’s is one of the best Quizzo nights in South Jersey. The crowd here is loyal, competitive, and well-fed — Tuesday is 60¢ tender night, which means nobody comes in hungry and nobody leaves disappointed. The game runs 7 rounds plus a bonus, prizes go to 1st and 2nd place. Show up early, because the regulars have their tables claimed.
